Megan is a yoga teacher, writer, artist and mom to two daughters who has been practicing yoga for 20+ years. Her first book, The End of Me was published in 2019 and is an autobiographical memoir about the three times she has died, what she saw and what she learned. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in Art and Art History in 2009, she moved to San Francisco, completing her MFA in Photography at the San Francisco Art Institute in 2012, and then in 2013, she moved to California full-time. Congratulations Madi Das! Born to an American mom and German dad, Madi Das grew up in the Vaishnava tradition of Bhakti Yoga. At age 7 he went to boarding school in India where he studied sacred chants, became fluent in Hindi, and made lifelong friends. Paloma Devi has been described as “The Golden Voice of the New Age”… She is a soul singer, ethnic dancer and seasoned Yogini. As an Internationally recognized Teacher and Singer, Her voice carries the sadhana (spiritual discipline) of her 24 years of Yoga practice and has been heard by millions around the world. This is one I've been avoiding doing for a while. If I could boil down politics in one word it would be: CONTROL. What we all seem to crave is a feeling a safety. However, we will never feel safe if we keep demanding others change for our own feelings of safety. Safety comes from a sense of inner-security. I talk about abortion (in a non-partisan, open-minded way), the lockdowns and mandatory V-s during the pandemic, and how taking money out of medicine would solve a lot of our culture wars. Tell me what you think!
